CULTURE: The Country has diferrent tribes/ethinic groups that speak different languages but Setswana being the National Language is spoken all the groups in Botswana however English is Botswana's international language and also spoken in the country. The Khoe San known as (BASARWA) are believed to be the first inhabitants of Botswana a tribe thats from iron age were hunters and gatherers and still to date.

The Peak season are from April through to October - both the weather and game viewing are excellent. Animals are at their most visible around what water there is - the natural waterholes, dams & rivers.


Summer months from November to March is when the rains arrive and it's hot between the thunderstorms.
The vegetation is a sea of green, wild flowers can be seen everywhere and all mammals and birds have their young. The bush is alive - Africa is at its most productive!
It's a photographer's paradise especially in the Kalahari where the large herds of animals have migrated to.

PRESIDENT : His Excellency L.t Gen Dr. Seretse Khama Ian Khama is the President of the Republic of Botswana.

LANGUAGE:Languages spoken in Botswana are Setswana the National language which is spoken all corners of the country and English for international use.

CURRENCY: Botswana Pula (BWP). Visa and Master Card credit cards are excepted in most retails like Filing stations, restuarants and supermakets. Most facilities accept Rand, US Dollar, Euro, Pound and Sterling.

CLIMATE:Botswana climate is characterized with less rainfall but reliable windy in some area like Rakops.
The winter season begins in april and ends in August. The sky is clear on winters no or less clouds in the sky. Botswana experience warm daylights but cold nights and early hours of the day. temperature ranges between 1° to 24°C.

Immediately when winter is over winds blow for a month or just mere weeks then summer follows in November to March.
